The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble presents THE TAPCRACKER 2021

By The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble (other events)

4 Dates Through Dec 12, 2021

ABOUT ABOUT

The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble is proud to present THE TAPCRACKER, a full-length, all-tap version of the classic holiday favorite. Set to the music of both Tchaikovsky and Duke Ellington, THE TAPCRACKER transports audiences to Paris, where an infestation of rats has thrown the city into chaos. Toy soldiers guard the Eiffel Tower, mice wreak havoc in the Metro, and frazzled chefs prepare for a feast at the magical palace of Versailles, featuring characters from the beloved Land of the Sweets.

Covid-19 Safety Protocols
All guests will be required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination or a negative PCR test within 72 hours of entry to the Suzanne Roberts Theatre. Masks will be required in the building for all guests. Read more details about the safety measures we are taking under "Restrictions" below.

Tickets for orchestra seating on the main floor will be sold in accordance with current safety guidelines; we will be releasing a limited number of tickets in October and may be able to release more in November, potentially bringing orchestra seating to full capacity.

Tickets for mezzanine seats on the second floor will be sold at a 50% reduced capacity to ensure the safety and comfort of audience members who may be at greater risk for Covid-19. We will not be increasing the seating capacity of the mezzanine at any time.

Restrictions

The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble values the safety of our audiences, artists, volunteers, and staff. We regularly update our COVID protocols and procedures based on CDC, federal, state, county, and city guidelines, as well as other scientific data. In keeping with the Suzanne Roberts Theatre's protocols, we are requiring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination – as defined by the CDC – for anyone entering the theatre. Upon arrival, all audience members will be required to show proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (see exceptions below).

Please be prepared to show:

  • your CDC vaccination card (original, paper, electronic, or photo copy)
  • matching Photo ID

Children under three years of age will not be admitted. Vaccination exceptions will be made for children too young to be eligible and for people with a medical or religious exemption. These guests must show proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance time or a negative antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance time. This includes children under 12 who may have received one or two doses of a vaccine, but for whom 14 days have not passed since the second dose.

We require all guests to properly wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth. While at your seats, you may temporarily remove your face covering if actively eating or drinking. Masks will be provided to those who do not arrive with appropriate face coverings. Anyone not wearing a mask will be asked to wear one, and anyone refusing to comply will be asked to leave.

If a patron is unable to show proof of vaccination or comply with mask requirements, they will not be permitted to attend the performance and the cost of their ticket will not be refunded.

We are asking audiences, artists, volunteers, and staff to monitor their health and stay home if they are exhibiting any COVID-19 and/or flu-like symptoms. By entering the theatre, you are agreeing that you are not sick and have not had direct contact with anyone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 10 days or exhibits symptoms of COVID-19.

All persons entering the theater, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children under three years of age are not admitted.

All sales are final, and all events are considered rain or shine. No refunds will be given.
